The characteristics of composite geomembrane materials should consider the design requirements, usually the thickness is not less than 0.2 mm, the total weight per square meter and various characteristics should be selected according to the design requirements, and the width should be selected according to the width of the channel laying. There should be no pinholes, defects and uneven thickness in the geomembrane appearance inspection, and the geotextile should not have cracks, holes and cracks.
First, the composite geomembrane must be marked with the manufacturer's name, manufacturing number (or assembly number), installation number, type, thickness, size and total weight. Second, when the composite geomembrane is folded and packaged, wooden boxes with nails should not be used; if coils are used for transportation, avoid damaging the surface of the coils during the loading and unloading process, and minimize the unnecessary loading and unloading and moving several times. Third, the composite geomembrane should be properly stored during the transportation process and after arriving at the construction site, and covered with colored strips to avoid wind and sun or precipitation, and avoid bonding into blocks.
The composite geomembrane is used for channel seepage prevention projects, with low investment and obvious seepage prevention effect, which can reduce the outflow of channel water and transport as much water as possible to the field. In recent years, a variety of new anti-seepage geomembranes have been developed and used in canal anti-seepage projects, which can achieve low investment and high efficiency.
